We have shared our experiences regarding how media affected us in our daily lives during covid 19 pandemic

Media provided instant information on what precautions to take and what are the hotspots for covid so that we can stay away from those places. It gave me more time to spend with my family during the lockdown and social media helped me to connect with my distant friends and relatives. Digital streaming media services helped me in timepass in free times since we cant play games outdoors in these times The Spread of false information by the media caused panic in me.

Social media platforms such as facebook, instagram, twitter etc helped me in maintaining contact with family and friends during the lockdown period, which helped me in coping with distress and anxiety. Video streaming platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar etc helped me in overcoming boredom. Platforms such as Zoom, Skype helped me continue my education in online mode. Some false and exaggerated news such as the number of deaths, false facts regarding spread of virus circulated in the media caused me panic which affected my mental health.

In covid pandemic it has given me a huge number of opportunities , i learned a lot through online courses especially regarding the new emerging technology, i started learning web development,python prog., competitive prog., digital marketing, so on.It has given me a courage that we can succed no matter what happens in our lives and on the other side it has its disadvantages too like I tend to spend a lot of time infront of my pc, phone which led me to some casualties like headache, backpain, eye stress,etc
